SavorSyracuse is the premier gourmet tasting gala to benefit the Food Bank of Central New York. During the event, guests will be able to enjoy delicious tastings from more than 40 of the region’s finest restaurants, wineries and breweries. 

SavorSyracuse helps the Food Bank raise community awareness about their hunger-relief mission, and to raise funds in support of our programs and services. Last year, SavorSyracuse raised more than $44,000 in net proceeds and welcomed more than 500 attendees. This year, as we deal with the harsh reality of our troubled economic climate, your support could not be more important!

Food Bank of Central New York has been helping to feed the hungry since 1985.  We are the main food supplier to 273 emergency food programs – helping fill food pantries, soup kitchens, and emergency shelters with food for distribution to the hungry.  Last year, Food Bank of Central New York distributed 11,550,177 million pounds of food, equaling 8,884,751 million meals – that’s 24,341 meals a day!  Our service area includes the following 11 counties throughout central and northern New York: Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego and St. Lawrence.
